4 iconStability

Numbers in a dream reflect the evolution of a thought - The 2 wheels of a bicycle require balance but the 4 wheels of a car provide stability. You feel comfortable sitting on a chair and setting your belongings on a table because of the stability of the 4 legs. Walking on 2 feet requires balance, which most of us master at a very early age. But the stability of walking on all 4 legs is far greater. The 4 in a dream represents the stability a thought form has as it begins to grow legs and create a foundation within your mind. For example, lets entertain the thought of getting a new job. This thought first begins with the 1, the individual need for a new job, more money, inner peace, more proper work/life balance etc. The need will be there before we observe it. Once we observe it internally we have now incorporated the dual nature of the 2. the outer need and the inner observation of that need. This creates [3] the idea within our mind of creating something new for ourselves. As we begin to entertain the thought further, it grows legs and becomes more rooted within our mind. We become more certain that the need is real and needs to be addressed. This is the stability of the 4 that our new thought form of acquiring a new job has formed. When a 4 shows up in your dream, it is reflecting to you the inner stability that you have and can rely on within yourself. The context of the dream will give you more insight. Are there 4 oranges that you eat on your way out of the door? We know that food represents knowledge, the understandings we are building through learning the life lessons we have the opportunity to build from our life experiences. The 4 is giving insight into either the stability of that knowledge you are generating and internalizing or it could be that stability itself is the understanding being built. Again, you the dreamer are the one that will need to truly interpret the dream itself based upon what is occurring within your life and within yourself.
