Tarak Uday

Modern Metaphysician

Tarak Uday

Author of Life is But a Dream and Structure of the Mind. Founder of CHITTA. Teaches dream interpretation by reading each symbol for what it IS and what it DOES, rather than for what it reminds you of.

The method

Most dream interpretation asks what a symbol means to you. The Universal Language of Mind asks what the symbol is and what it does, and derives the meaning from that. Water is the medium life experience moves through, so water reads as conscious life experience - not as emotion, and not as the subconscious. A house is the structure you live inside, so a house reads as the mind. A vehicle carries you, so a vehicle reads as the physical body.

That single move - form and function instead of association - is what makes the readings consistent between two different dreamers, and it is what makes them checkable. It also puts this framework in direct disagreement with Freud, with Jung, and with every mainstream dream dictionary. That disagreement is deliberate and it is stated plainly rather than hedged.

The Universal Language of Mind is a form-and-function approach to dream symbolism taught within the metaphysical tradition Tarak Uday studied in. CHITTA is not the origin of the framework; it is the working instrument built on it - a single consistent system applied at scale, with every symbol decoded the same way and the results published.

The corpus

CHITTA publishes 857 documented dream symbols, each decoded by form and function under the same framework, and 368 long-form source articles mirrored across 5 languages (1840 article URLs). Every entry uses the same method; where the reading contradicts the mainstream dictionaries, the contradiction is shown rather than smoothed over.
