Cookies

In the Language of Mind, a cookie is knowledge taken purely for pleasure. Read its form and function: all food is understanding the mind digests from experience, but a cookie is a sweet treat — something eaten not to nourish the self but to indulge the senses, a little hit of pleasure with little substance behind it. So when cookies appear, your subconscious is showing you the understanding you are pursuing for how it FEELS rather than for how it grows you — the easy, flattering, sugar-rush kind of "knowing" that satisfies the senses but leaves the deeper self unfed. Examine where in your waking life you are reaching for what tastes good over what truly feeds you. Baking or being offered cookies = pleasurable experiences you are preparing or being invited to take in; stealing or sneaking them = grabbing a gratification you sense you have not earned; a whole jar = abundant indulgence on offer, asking whether you can savor without overfilling on the empty kind. That is one symbol read clean — but who handed them to you, the kitchen they came from, the table you sat at, all still speak. Your subconscious talks to you every night in this exact language; CHITTA is simply where you learn to read the rest of the sentence. Go within, or go without.
