Devil

The 'Devil' in a dream represents your unawareness of how you are misusing your ego. The ego is not inherently bad -- it is the sense of individual identity that allows you to navigate the physical world. The ego becomes destructive when it operates unchecked, when it serves only itself at the expense of others, and when it convinces you that you are separate from the whole of creation. When the devil appears in your dream, it is not a supernatural entity -- it is a reflection of the part of your own consciousness that is operating selfishly, destructively, or in opposition to your higher nature.
