In the Language of Mind, a dollar is not wealth or worry about money — it is your sense of self-value, the worth you place on yourself. Look at its form and function: a dollar is a unit of value, the agreed measure of what something is worth and what it can command in exchange. Your subconscious borrows that exact form to show you how you are currently valuing yourself — how much worth you assign to who you are, and therefore what experiences you believe you can command. So examine where in your waking life this dollar appeared: were you holding it, hoarding it, spending it freely, or watching it slip away? Each is a mirror. Finding or being handed money = a rising recognition of your own worth; losing or being robbed of it = a place you are giving your self-value away, letting others set your price. Counterfeit money is the sharpest tell of all — a worth you are faking, valuing yourself on something untrue rather than the real Self underneath. That is one symbol, read clean. The hands that gave it, the room you stood in, the road you carried it down are still speaking — every one an aspect of you.
