Dolphin

In the Language of Mind, a dolphin is an intelligent, intuitive habit of mind that draws higher knowing up out of your lived experience. Read its form and function: an animal is always a habitual thought pattern, and this one is a creature that lives immersed in water yet must keep surfacing for air. Water is conscious life experience; air is the higher, mental realm where thoughts are first formed. So a dolphin is the part of you that swims through ordinary experience with playful ease while constantly rising to breathe in higher understanding — intuition working gracefully, not by force. Examine where in your waking life you are moving through your experiences with that kind of trust, letting insight surface naturally instead of grasping for it. A dolphin guiding or playing beside you = this intuitive habit is awake and leading; a dolphin trapped, beached, or struggling = that knowing is cut off from the air it needs, intuition starved by over-reasoning. Notice it never fights the water — it works with the current, the way wisdom works with experience rather than against it. That is one symbol read clean; the sea it swam in, the shore it neared, the figure watching from the boat are all still speaking.
