In the Language of Mind, lights mean one thing: awareness. Look at form and function. A light is whatever makes the unseen visible; its function is to illuminate, to push back the dark so you can perceive what is actually there. So when lights appear in your dream, your subconscious is showing you exactly what you have become conscious of — the parts of your inner life that are now lit, known, and available to you. Dark and night, by the same logic, are the regions of yourself you cannot yet see: not threats, just the not-yet-aware. Examine where in your waking life something has suddenly become clear, and where you are still moving in the dark and calling it normal.
Read the variations like a dimmer switch on your own consciousness. A light flicking on, a lamp lit in a dark room = a realization breaking through, awareness arriving where there was none; a light going out or refusing to switch on = an insight you are letting slip, a knowing you keep avoiding; a blinding or dazzling light often points to superconscious awareness, the highest light, flooding in faster than the conscious mind can hold. And notice the source — sun is superconscious awareness, moon is subconscious awareness, stars are conscious awareness; each tells you which level of mind just turned on. That is one symbol, read clean. The room it lit, the figure it revealed, the water it shone across — all of it is still speaking. Your subconscious talks to you every night in this exact language; CHITTA is simply where you learn to read the rest of the sentence. Go within, or go without.
