Water within a dream will represent your conscious life experiences. There are 3 divisions of the mind, conscious mind, subconscious mind, and superconscious mind. The sky will will represent superconscious mind. The Earth will represent the subconscious mind, and water will always represent the life experiences within the conscious mind. The conscious mind is the mind your physical body uses within this 3 dimensional physical reality Oceans are the largest bodies of water. They are vast and endless from our perspective from the beach or within a boat. This will represent your life as a whole rather than just a few recent experiences.

Was the water clear and easy to see through? This will reflect your ability to see clearly what is occurring within your life. Perhaps the water was muddy and murky? This will represent the difficulty you are having in truly perceiving your physical life experiences. Was the water calm and still? This will reflect how your life experiences currently are calm and peaceful. Or perhaps the water was tumultuous? This will represent how you feel like your life is wild right now, like powerful waves washing you away. Were you drowning in the dream? If so, this will reflect how you are feeling overwhelmed by your life experiences. Or maybe you were swimming across the surface just fine? This would be a representation of how you are easily navigating your life experiences.
