Rape

'Rape' in a dream represents fighting creation. Sex in the Universal Language of the Mind represents the creative act -- the bringing together of conscious and subconscious energies to create something new. Rape is a forced, non-consensual violation of this creative process. This reflects a part of your consciousness that is resisting or fighting the creative process -- or a creative force being imposed upon you against your will. This could represent resistance to change that is being forced upon you. It could reflect a feeling that something is being created in your life that you did not choose and do not want. Or it could indicate an internal violation -- a part of yourself imposing its will upon another part without consent or cooperation. When rape shows up in your dream, it is reflecting a serious imbalance in the creative process within your consciousness. Something is being forced. There is no harmony between the parts of yourself that should be working together. Address this by identifying where the force and resistance exist within you. What change are you fighting? What is being imposed upon you that you have not consented to? True creation requires the willing cooperation of both the conscious and subconscious minds. Forced creation produces suffering.
