Shower

A 'Shower' in a dream represents a mental cleanse -- the active process of letting go of unproductive thoughts and beliefs. A shower uses water (conscious life experiences) to wash away dirt, grime, and impurities from the body. In the Universal Language of the Mind, this reflects the conscious use of your life experiences to cleanse your mind of the accumulated unproductive thoughts, negative beliefs, and mental impurities that have built up over time. A shower is different from a bath in an important way. A bath is immersive -- you sit in the water and soak. A shower is active -- the water flows over you and carries the impurities away. This reflects an active, dynamic cleansing process rather than a passive one. You are standing, engaged, and the impurities are being washed away and carried down the drain -- removed from your consciousness entirely. The regularity of a shower is also significant. You shower daily because impurities accumulate daily. Your mind works the same way. Every day, unproductive thoughts accumulate -- worry, self-doubt, negativity, stress, reactionary thinking. Without a daily mental cleanse, these accumulate and contaminate your consciousness. When a shower shows up in your dream, it is reflecting the cleansing process occurring within your mind -- or the urgent need for it. Are you actively washing away the day's mental impurities? Use concentration to maintain a clean, focused mental state. Shower your mind daily with the same consistency you shower your body. The mental hygiene is even more important than the physical.
