Curse

In the Language of Mind, a curse is never an external force binding you from outside — it is a negative thought-pattern you keep casting on yourself, your own creative power running unconsciously against you. Look at its form and function: a curse is a word repeated and believed until it shapes outcomes; a belief held long enough becomes the mold reality pours into. So when a curse appears in your dream, your subconscious is naming a conviction you keep speaking over your own life — "I always fail," "I'm not allowed good things" — and showing you it is manifesting exactly as decreed. Examine where in your waking life you've handed your power to fate, luck, or someone else's ill will, when the spell is yours. Read the variations: being cursed by another figure = a disowned aspect of you doing the casting (that person is you); cursing someone else = the same destructive belief turned outward. The witch or hand behind it is your own unconscious creator, asking to be made conscious so you can speak a different word. That is one symbol read clean — the room it happened in, the figure who spoke it, the object that carried it are still talking.
