Gifts

'Gifts' in a dream represent value. A gift is something given that carries worth -- it is a transfer of value from one source to another. In the Universal Language of the Mind, gifts reflect the value being exchanged within your consciousness -- value being given to you by an aspect of yourself, or value you are giving to another aspect of yourself. The nature of the gift provides deeper insight. What is being given determines what kind of value is being exchanged. A gift of food represents the value of knowledge. A gift of money represents the value of self-worth. A gift of clothing represents the value of authentic expression. A gift of tools represents the value of mental capability. Every gift carries a specific type of value based on what the gift object represents in the Universal Language of the Mind. Pay attention to who is giving and who is receiving. If you are receiving a gift, an aspect of your consciousness is offering you something of value -- accept it and use it. If you are giving a gift, you are recognizing the value of another aspect of yourself and investing in it. Is the gift wrapped, suggesting that the value is not yet revealed? Is it opened, indicating that the value has been recognized? Is it rejected, reflecting that you are refusing to accept your own value? When gifts show up in your dream, they are reflecting the exchange of value occurring within your consciousness. Something of worth is being offered. The question is whether you are recognizing it, accepting it, and using it. Do not leave gifts unopened. Do not refuse what is being offered to you from within. Accept the value. You are worth it.
