Gloves

In the Language of Mind, gloves are about how you guard and maintain your intention and purpose. So a covering placed over your purpose mirrors a layer you have put around your intentions: a way of protecting, shaping, or sometimes concealing the real aim behind your actions. When gloves appear, examine where in your waking life you are handling things at one remove — keeping your true purpose sheltered, or careful not to let what you are reaching for touch you directly. Read the variations the way you'd read any clothing: clean, well-fitted gloves = a clear, deliberate hold on your intention, your purpose protected without being hidden; torn, dirty, or ill-fitting gloves = a purpose grown muddled or no longer matched to who you are; taking gloves off = readiness to handle life bare, to act with naked, honest intention.
