Hell

In the Language of Mind, hell is not a place you go after death and not a punishment handed down from outside — it is a self-tormenting state of mind. Read its form and function: a place is always the condition of the mind, and the things inside it are the thoughts composing that state. So a place built of fire, torment, and inescapable suffering is a mind holding itself in guilt, self-condemnation, and replayed regret — and the cruelty is the dreamer's own, turned inward. No demon is doing this to you; the warden and the prisoner are the same self. Notice that the fire is still fire: in this language flame purifies and refines, which means even this state is consuming what is ready to be released, if you stop feeding it. Examine where in your waking life you have appointed yourself judge and condemned, replaying an old failing as if the sentence must never end. Read the variations like a confession: flames and burning = a guilt actively consuming you now; being trapped or locked in = a belief that there is no way out of how you've judged yourself; a frozen or empty hell = the deadened, numb aftermath of carrying it too long. That is one symbol, decoded clean. The fire that surrounds it, the door you couldn't find, the figure who damned you — each is another part of you still speaking. Your subconscious is communicating with you every night; you just haven't learned the language yet. CHITTA is simply where you learn to read the rest of the sentence. Go within, or go without.
