Inside

In the Language of Mind, being inside is not about a literal room or shelter — it is your own inner environment, the state of mind you are currently dwelling within. Look at form and function: an interior is the enclosed space a structure contains, and a structure exists to contain and shelter exactly as the mind contains the self. So when a dream places you inside, your subconscious is showing you that the action is happening within your inner world — your awareness has turned away from the outer physical world and toward your own consciousness. Examine where in your waking life you have gone inward: what state of mind are you living inside right now, and is it a place you built on purpose? Read the variations the way you would read a building. A bright, ordered interior = a clear, integrated state of mind you move through with ease; a dim, cramped, or cluttered interior = a state still crowded with thoughts you have not yet sorted; pushing to get inside = an aspect of self you are still working to enter and own, while being trapped inside and longing to get out = a state of mind you have outgrown. Notice, too, which level you are on — the basement is what is unknown to you, the upper floors reach toward the subconscious and superconscious above. That is one symbol, read clean. The rooms you wander, the figures already inside, the door you came through — each is still speaking. Your subconscious talks to you every night in this exact language; CHITTA is simply where you learn to read the rest of the sentence. Go within, or go without.
