Jealousy

'Jealousy' in a dream represents a stimulus pushing you forward and an awareness of the need to create something for yourself. Most people see jealousy as purely negative, but in the Universal Language of the Mind, it serves an important function. Jealousy arises when you see someone else possessing or experiencing something that you desire for yourself. It is your subconscious mind alerting you that there is something you want that you have not yet created. The key is what you do with this awareness. Jealousy becomes destructive when it turns into resentment, bitterness, or the desire to tear others down. It becomes productive when you use it as fuel -- when you recognize that what you admire in someone else is reflecting a desire within yourself that is ready to be pursued. When jealousy shows up in your dream, it is calling for you to identify the desire underneath it. What does someone else have that you want?
