Self-sabotaging thoughts
'Poison' in a dream represents self-sabotaging thoughts. Poison is a substance that, when consumed, destroys from the inside. In the Universal Language of the Mind, this reflects thoughts that you are consuming -- entertaining, believing, repeating -- that are destroying you from within. Self-sabotaging thoughts are insidious because you do not always recognize them as poison. They disguise themselves as truth. "I'm not good enough." "I'll never succeed." "I don't deserve happiness." These thoughts feel true, but they are toxic. Every time you consume them -- every time you believe and repeat them -- they do more damage.
When poison shows up in your dream, it is an urgent warning. You are consuming thoughts that are destroying you. Identify them immediately. What thoughts have you been entertaining that are toxic to your growth, your self-worth, or your well-being? Stop consuming them. Replace them with their antidotes -- thoughts of self-love, capability, worthiness, and purpose. You are not what your poisonous thoughts tell you. Spit out the poison and feed yourself the truth.
