Plants

`Plants' in a dream represent subconscious thoughts. Plants grow from the earth, and earth represents the subconscious mind. Plants, then, are the thoughts that have taken root within your subconscious -- they have been planted, they have grown, and they are now living expressions of what exists within your inner mind. Unlike conscious thoughts (hair), which you can see and manage easily, subconscious thoughts (plants) grow on their own once planted. They do not require your conscious attention to continue growing. This is both powerful and dangerous -- productive seed thoughts will grow into beautiful plants, but unproductive ones will grow into weeds just as easily. When plants show up in your dream, examine the condition of your subconscious thoughts. Are they healthy, green, and flourishing? Or are they wilting, overgrown, or invasive? What have you been planting in your subconscious through your daily thoughts and visualizations? Take responsibility for your inner garden. Pull the weeds. Water the flowers. Plant only what you want to harvest.
