In the Language of Mind, being sick is not a warning about your body — it is the picture of negative thinking that has hardened into unproductive attitudes and beliefs. Look at the form and function: illness is the body fallen out of balance, no longer running as it was designed to. So when you dream you are sick, your subconscious is mirroring a place where your thinking has fallen out of balance — a habit of thought working against your own wellbeing, asking to be set right. Examine where in your waking life you are running on a belief that no longer serves you, draining instead of nourishing you. Notice the variations: who is sick tells you whose thinking — a sick man is a conscious attitude you chose, a sick woman a deeper subconscious tendency, often older than this life; and a fever, the body burning hot, is that negativity finally surfacing to be purified and released. That is one symbol read clean. The hospital you were carried into is a healing state of mind already forming around you, and the figure tending you is your own inner teacher.
