'Tattoos' in a dream represent self-expression. A tattoo is a permanent marking on the body -- an image or symbol that you choose to wear on your skin for life. In the Universal Language of the Mind, this reflects a form of self-expression that has become permanent -- something you have chosen to make a lasting part of how you present yourself to the world. Pay attention to what the tattoo depicts and where it is on the body. The image reflects what you are expressing, and the location reflects which area of your consciousness the expression relates to. A tattoo on the arm (purpose) reflects a permanent expression of your purpose. A tattoo on the chest (responsibility) reflects a permanent expression of your sense of responsibility. When tattoos show up in your dream, examine the expressions you have made permanent in your life. Are they authentic representations of who you truly are?
