Twelve

'Twelve' in a dream represents the 12 major aspects of the self. The number twelve appears throughout creation as a symbol of completeness and wholeness: 12 months in a year, 12 hours on a clock face, 12 signs of the zodiac, 12 disciples, 12 tribes. In the Universal Language of the Mind, twelve represents the complete set of fundamental qualities that make up the whole human consciousness. Each one is a pillar of your consciousness. When all twelve are fully developed and working in harmony, you operate as a complete, integrated, fully realized being. When even one is neglected or underdeveloped, the entire structure is compromised -- like a building with eleven strong pillars and one cracked one. Consider how these aspects interrelate. Will without imagination has no direction. Imagination without will has no power. Knowing without honesty becomes self-deception. Commitment without determination collapses under pressure. Value without productive thinking cannot be expressed. Memory without attention has nothing to record. Each aspect supports and strengthens the others. They are not twelve separate qualities -- they are twelve facets of one diamond. When twelve shows up in your dream, it is reflecting your awareness of the complete spectrum of qualities that make up who you are. It is calling for you to take an honest inventory.
