In the Language of Mind, an upper limb — your arm — is purpose: the capacity to reach out and act on what you intend. Read it by form and function. The arm is the body's reaching tool; its whole job is to extend you toward something, grasp it, and bring it to you or push it away. So in the language of mind it mirrors your purposeful will — the part of you that moves with intention rather than drift. When an arm fills your dream, your subconscious is showing you how you are reaching toward your goals right now. Examine where in your waking life you are extending yourself on purpose, and where your reach has gone slack. The variations speak too: a strong, easily-moving arm = purpose flowing into clear action; a bound, broken, paralyzed, or missing arm = an intention you feel powerless to carry out, a place you've stopped reaching. That is one symbol, read clean. The hand at the end of it — how you grasp and hold — and the road your body was traveling are still speaking.
