Find

In the Language of Mind, to find is to become consciously aware of something that already existed inside you. Look at the form and the function: finding is the moment your awareness makes contact with a thing you possessed all along but had not yet recognized — you never "find" what was not already there. So in the language of mind, a dream of finding is your conscious mind reaching down and taking hold of content held in the subconscious: a quality, an understanding, a part of yourself stepping out of the dark and into the light of recognition. Nothing new is created in that instant; something hidden simply becomes known.

Examine where in your waking life a realization is surfacing right now — some truth about who you are that you are finally ready to own. Read the variations closely. Finding money is recovering a sense of your own self-value; finding a lost object is reclaiming a quality of self you'd set down and forgotten; finding a new room is awareness opening into an area of mind you hadn't yet explored. Notice WHAT you found and WHERE, because the place is the state of mind and the object is the thought within it. That is one symbol read clean — but the seeker who searched, the rooms they walked, the figures met along the way are all still speaking. Your subconscious communicates with you every night; CHITTA is simply where you learn to read the rest of the sentence. Go within, or go without.
