Hole

In the Language of Mind, a hole is receptivity — an opening into your inner space. Look at its form and function: a hole is an absence, an opening in an otherwise solid surface, and what an opening does is let something pass through or in. So when a hole appears in your dream, your subconscious is showing you a place where you have become receptive — an access point into a deeper level of yourself that was once closed and is now open. It is a need, or an invitation, to receive. Examine where in your waking life you are being asked to stop pushing and instead let something in — an understanding, a truth, a way of being you have kept walled off.
