Stairs

'Stairs' in a dream represent access to different levels of mind. Stairs connect one floor to another, allowing you to move between levels. In the Universal Language of the Mind, stairs reflect your ability to move between the different levels of your consciousness -- from the conscious mind to the subconscious to the superconscious and back. Pay attention to whether you are going up or down. Going upstairs reflects moving into deeper, higher levels of consciousness -- accessing the subconscious or superconscious. Going downstairs reflects returning to the conscious mind or descending into unconscious patterns. Are the stairs easy to climb, or are they steep and difficult? When stairs show up in your dream, they are showing you the access points between your levels of mind. Develop the ability to move freely between them through concentration, meditation, and dream work. The more easily you can navigate the stairs of your consciousness, the more fully integrated and powerful your mind becomes.
