Age reads as maturity of the quality: a young stranger is a capacity recently developed, an older one is something long-established that you've only just noticed. Their manner is the quality's character - calm means the capacity is stable, agitated means it's active but unregulated. What they wear is how the quality presents itself, since clothing in a dream is the image you show the world.
